Six free workshops will be held across the country this summer to train archaeological practitioners in the use of the Selection Toolkit and the development of project specific selection strategies.
In order to facilitate a balanced discussion between all areas of the sector, potential workshop attendees have been targeted based on the workshop’s location.
However, the Selection Toolkit workshops have proved popular and there are not enough spaces to accommodate everyone that has shown an interest. Registration has therefore been opened for a ‘reserve list’ for each workshop in case any places become available.
The reserve list will also act as an indication for areas where additional workshops may be required. Therefore it would be helpful if all those interested in attending one of the workshops could register for the ‘reserve list’ in order to better understand the requirements for future training events.
The workshops are aimed at those individuals involved in the initial development of project specific selection strategies (ie During project design and aproval), and the implementation and amendment if those strategies throughout the project.
